FS#8179 — VPS Cloud
Scheduled Maintenance Report for Bare Metal Cloud
Completed
We'll make an update of the virtual hardware in order to switch the network cards of the vm on VMXNET3.
Maintenance is scheduled for the night of Monday, March 11 to Tuesday to March 12, 2013 starting from midnight.

We'll just reboot the vm, for those who are not yet updated. The cut-off will not exceed 10 minutes per vm.
This update brings a performance optimization on the network and also avoids the lag observable of use.

If you want to avoid this intervention, you can now reboot your VM via the API in order to receive the update automatically.

We have detected an anomaly. The vcloud does not know apparently how to reconnect itself network cards after the update of the virtual hardware, it is compulsory to do it manually in this status.
We prefer to abolish the update for tonight so that we won't cause interruptions to the service.

The update will therefore be recovered tomorrow night at the same time.
