We will upgrade those equipment in the latest versions recommended.
The objective is to improve the management of memory parity errors (soft correction) and allow the implementation of new features and new hardware support during the coming next year on these equipment.
No impact is expected, both equipment will be isolated before maintenance, and traffic will flow to other peering points.
We plan to do this maintenance on Friday 25th of August at 00:00am (UTC).
Update(s):
Date: 2017-08-25 01:34:09 UTC On this upgrade we've also changed the Flow Aware max count on the router (bru-1-a9). This configuration is used for UBRL in order to protect the OVH Backbone.
Flow Aware QoS provides packet flow awareness and enhances per-flow action capabilities in the existing QoS functionality. Flow aware QoS suite provides a framework that can support per-flow feature functionality such as admission control and traffic flow based dynamic rate limiting.
This feature doesn't work for some type of linecard. We've removed this configuration and it's all fine. We put back both equipment to production

We are going to upgrade bru-1-a72
But we have an issue with the linecard of bru-1-a9. They don't come up. We are investigating
Date: 2017-08-24 23:43:11 UTC We are going to start the maintenance. We will first isolate the equipment from the network.
